Fleet Leaders Meeting Results

Here is a quick summary of the major topics/results coming out of the Fleet Leader meeting on 8/30/09. Thank you to everyone who attended, I considered this a great success.

1) Match Times

a) Content with current schedule/timeframes
b) Allow each fleet to register a CO (Fleet Lead) and 2 XO’s (Fleet Officers) for scheduling purposes.
c) Use of a Missouri Fleet Leader/XO’s forum for scheduling alternate match times
d) All rescheduled matches require that both fleets have a Fleet Lead/XO accepting the alternative time/date and a TNF approval.
e) All rescheduling of matches must be complete prior to Wednesday of the week the match is taking place.

2) Ship Limits

a) Add one PCA to limits, making it 6 PCA per side instead of 5
b) Allow submarine per side to be SS1 or SS2, rather than just SS1
c) Keep current capital ship limits

3) Match Rules

a) Retain the current 2 minute join/preparation time for each battle room, but allow fleet leaders to request an additional 1 minute period for players who crash during the join phase.
b) Increase the time for battle restarts due to crashes from 30 seconds to 1 minute.
c) Suggestions including increasing the battle time limits, leaving them alone, or removing time limit (will be discussed further)
d)Suggestions about replacing current tactical decisions with a point based system (will be discussed further)
